MUSIC PARTNERS
The selection of music is a personal decision for the gym owner/coach. We can recommend music producers who have a working relationship with our company and who are Preferred Music Providers by USA Cheer; however it is the coach who is ultimately responsible for selection and ordering of compliant music. The coach needs contact Event Producers to know their policies regarding music and music producers. There are 2 options for music to assist staff in providing creative elements for your dance and overall routine.
Option 1:
Dance cut for that section is provided prior to or at the start of the
choreography session. This sample will be from the music producer for the use prior to and during the choreography session. The coach is responsible for the 8 count sheet and the ordering of the complete routine music for the team.
Option 2:
A rough cut of the team music or a premade mix is provided prior to or at the start of the choreography session. The music is a draft and may need adjusting after the choreography session. This is not recommended, it tends to restrict the creative flow of the choreographer due to the count restrictions of a pre made mix.
